Mission Statement:
Our mission is children.
Our staff believes and operates under the premise that all children can learn. We want you to share our mission and support our belief…
School Colors: Our colors are blue and yellow from the original Morse Elementary School. Blue stands for “confidence and independence”. Yellow stands for “purity of knowledge”.
School Mascot: Our mascot is the lamb. Our program was named after Donald Lamb, Director of the Wyandotte Special Education Cooperative from 1968 – 1982, who was instrumental in launching the early childhood program. The lamb represents gentleness and patience.
Morse Early Childhood Center opened its doors for the 1999 – 2000 school year, serving approximately 150 three and four year old students. Since that first year, we have served over 6,000 students.
